Freeman Wire 2020. Where Are We Headed?

On being stuck and my plans to get unstuck.

I've been stuck for the past few months. That's why I haven't really written anything new. Yeah I know, probably not the best idea. For those of you who have been waiting for more content since October, I apologize.

In the past month, I've been scouring the internet, watching YouTube videos, reading different blogs, talking with different folks and brainstorming about how I can make The Freeman Wire better.

I started it back in March of 2019 with this idea:

The Freeman Wire explores what it means to be and live free. I take stories about news and culture and analyze what we can learn about ourselves and the society we live in.

While encouraging you to look at things with the perspective of hope, faith and most importantly, freedom!

This way you can read the news with relative ease as in comes to your inbox every week!

Positive news from a Christian and Conservative perspective.

That's The Freeman Wire.

And this cool picture I made on Canva:

Sure this is great and all but I wanted to change how people thought about things and approach life. I really want to provide value to you, the reader!

I have a couple of ideas in mind:

1.  Write more long-form content- More in-depth content on a single topic or issue? Say 1000 words or more?

2. Tips and tricks that I've learned over the years that's helped me live out my identity as a Christian and in freedom?

3. A private Facebook group so we can encourage each other?

4. A podcast where I talk about the stories that I curate?

The problem is, I realized that I don't entirely know what the future of The Freeman Wire will be. That's why I feel stuck. So I need your help!

What would you like to take away from the Freeman Wire after you read it?

Would you like to learn something new?

Would you like to feel encouraged or empowered?

Would you like solutions to certain problems?

I know these questions probably sound cliche. And maybe they are.

I read Simon Sinek's Start With Why recently and I realized that The Freeman Wire needs to have a better defined why, what and how.

I want this to be more than just a newsletter. I want this to be a movement.

With that being said, I'll be experimenting with long-form content to begin with in the next couple of weeks.

I'm not going into detail about what's going to be in it because even I don't know yet.

Like I said, this will be an experiment.

But hopefully it will be an experiment with good results!

Let's live free together!
